Mississippi River Festival T-Shirt

The Mississippi River Festival (MRF) was a summer outdoor concert series held during the years 1969-1980 on the campus of Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois.

MRF consisted of a variety of popular rock, folk, bluegrass, and classical music performers such as The Who, Yes, Chicago, Eagles, and Grateful Dead. After a disagreement between the University and organizers, it came to an end after 11 years. Those who attended still remember the great times and classic acts they experienced at the festival.
