Missourian and almnus of University of Missouri Rolla Fred Kummer established one of the nation's most succcessful construction companies, Hospital Building and Equipment Corp. (HBE). In the course of his lifetime, he oversaw the construction of over 1000 hospitals, clinics, banks, and credit unions in 49 states. This book gives an overview of his life and serves as a way to honor his memory.
