1914 Pageant & Masque-Art Print
The Pageant and Masque commemorated the 150th anniversary of Saint Louis. Beginning on May 1914 it brought more than 400,00 people together of all economic classes for 4 night production. The 4 hour stage show was held at the base of Art Hill and traced the history of St. Louis. It inspired the creation of the Municipal Opera, The Muny, in Forest Park.
